Recommended use

  • Barrier pillow: on usual grounds and on water as a barrier and absorbent
  • Quick-Container: set-up container under the area of expected leakage or spill

Properties

"QC" version includes a mobile, foldable container for "planned" leakages up to 3L.

The Quick Container is set up within seconds and has a resistant foil against oils and fuels.

´“QC” Kit contains the following:

  • 1x 2L Sachet of 100% organic SORB®XT fibre
  • 1x barrier pillow (filled with 100% organic SORB®XT fibre)
  • 1x quick container
  • 1x single-use gloves
  • 2x disposal bag

Features

Application

  • Spread out SORB®XT evenly over the leaked
    substance and work into the material
  • place the pillows directly on the area of
    contamination and wait until it has reached its
    full absorptive capacity (the pillow will be
    entirely in the color of contaminated material)
  • the pillow can be applied on all mentioned
    fields plus on water surfaces

Storage

  • store in an dry place with low humidity to avoid
    mold

After application

  • skim off or sweep up the substance from the
    surface
  • collect the substance with pick-up spatula
    and put it into a disposal bag/ collect the
    pillow with single-use gloves and put it into a
    disposal bag
  • dispose of the contaminated material
    following the respective valid laws and local
    regulations
  • clean the quick-container and fold it back to initial
    shape (reusable)
