The Silky Sugoi 420-6.5 is a practical, fixed pruning saw for professional arborists. The shape and proportion between the handle and the blade is perfectly aligned.
Saw blade of the Silky Sugoi 420-6.5 pruning saw
The curved saw blade is enhanced with a full-tang construction. A curved saw blade is great when you work a lot above your shoulders, or below your knees. The advantage of a curved saw blade is that you can continue to saw on top of the branch without any additional effort. As such you can easily cut of additional branches while your wrist, arm and hand remain in a natural position.
The blade is made from a special metal alloy that makes the saw strong and flexible. The blade length is 420 mm and the serrations are extra coarse (6.5 teeth per 30 mm). This Silky saw can be used for both fresh and hard wood.
Not sure which length you need? The Sugoi 330 is perfect for branches up to approximately 16 cm, the Sugoi 360 for branches up to approximately 18 cm and the Sugoi 420 for branches up to approx. 21 cm.

Holster for the Silky Sugoi 420-6.5 professional pruning saw
The Silky Sugoi 420-6.5 comes with an orange, light-weight, polypropylene holster with removable belt loops. It is possible to attach the holster to a climbing belt or to your leg with the included leg straps.

Maintaining the Silky Sugoi
Are you not going to use the saw for a while? Treat it with maintenance oil before you store it. As such you prevent rust and make sure the saw stays in great condition. Use Ballistol maintenance oil, for instance. You can use use Ballistol spray a Ballistol marker or simply a small 50 ml bottle. Better safe than sorry!
