For landscapers, contractors, arborists and hire companies looking for a wood chipper that handles up to 150mm (6inch) with ease, the Greenmech Arborist 130 might be the smallest GreenMech in the road-tow sector but it’s capable of very high output. Importantly, its construction is identical to that of its bigger brother, the only significant difference being that it’s powered by the popular 23hp Honda petrol engine and therefore comes into a lower price bracket.

The backbone of the Arborist 130s design is based on a deep beam, high tensile steel chassis which creates tremendous strength and ensures a robust performance. A generous in-feed hopper, measuring 970mm x 790mm (38inch x 31inch), means that free-flow of bulky material can be handled without having to trim to a more manageable size. As the material passes through twin, vertical feed rollers, the electronically – controlled ‘No-Stress’ feed system varies the speed of throughput to ensure maximum chipping efficiency.

The chipping system comes with the renowned ‘Disc-Blade’ configuration which allows rotation of the cutting edge and extends the sharpening period to only once in approximately150 hours. This is a feature that reduces downtime, cuts maintenance, and maximises working performance.

Maintenance is minimal, with a few grease points and a daily check-over. Apart from that, your chipper is ready to go!

NO-STRESS IN-FEED SYSTEM:

The electronically controlled No-Stress feed system reverses the feed rollers to relieve the chipper blades, allowing the rotor speed to recover quickly, once again increasing output.

ADJUSTABLE DRAWBAR:

Helps match up the vehicle to the chipper while retaining the minimum 600mm infeed table height.

FOLDING INFEED CHUTE:

Allows for good visibility of the lighting board in transit and gives a shorter overall length for storage.

WIDE IN-FEED CHUTE:

A generous 970mm x 790mm in-feed hopper which aids bushy brash reduction, coupled with a 150cm x 230cm letterbox-style throat enables heavily forked branches to be fed in easily.

TWIN VERTICAL HYDRAULIC ROLLERS:

The twin vertical hydraulic rollers efficiently crush the material with minimal lateral movement.

116 DB POWER / 92 DB PRESSURE:

The hinged steel bonnet is lined with noise reduction material which, in combination with the disc blade system, offers one of the quietest wood chippers on the market.
